Guidelines for writing a motivational letter

Students who are interested in participating in the Erasmus+ project „Young journalists of today – responsible digital citizens of tomorrow”, are obliged to write a brief motivational letter. This letter will be one of the criteria for the selection of participants who will travel to student exchanges in Serbia, North Macedonia, Spain, and Romania. 

A motivational letter should be written in English. It should explain candidates interest in joining Erasmus+ team and what are his/her expectations from project participation. A motivation letter must have at least 700 characters. The maximum allowed for all interested candidates is 1000 characters.

Selection results will be announced 2 months before the departure on a student exchange, and Erasmus+ school team will oversee the selection process. Aside motivation letter, the criteria for selection will also be participation in the media group, attitude for collaboration and candidates decent and proper behavior. 

Motivational letters should be sent to the project coordinator of each partner country via e-mail. All motivation letters will be published on Erasmus+ project blog „Young journalists of today – responsible digital citizens of tomorrow”
