Teachers Aleksandra Ivanović and Biljana Vucković held three workshops for parents: “Taking care of the digital generation”, “Positive and negative content in the media: media influence and opportunities for parents” and “Copyright”. The workshops were held on the 4th of January 2022 during the parents-teacher conferences.
Within the workshop “Positive and negative content in the media: media influence and opportunities for parents”, parents 4-1 were introduced to examples of positive and negative content in the media and research on child safety on the Internet. At the workshop, parents had the opportunity to review some media content and inform other participants of the workshop.
“Take care of the digital generation” is a workshop held for parents in grades 4-2 and the main goal was to motivate parents to prepare their children for the virtual world and to give them appropriate guidelines, help and rules. As part of the workshop, parents were tasked with making rules regarding time spent online and tips for safe networking.
The aim of the workshop “Copyright” was to acquaint parents with the concept of copyright and the problems caused by plagiarism and piracy. Parents actively participated in the work, expressing their observations and impressions. The parents of eighth grade students participated in the workshop. /Biljana Vučković/
