Jana Macić, a young rhythmic gymnast from Ćićevac, won a gold medal at the Evita Cup in Svilajnac. Our school friend Jana is a girl who trains rhythmic gymnastics and achieves great success. Everyone who knows her knows that she is persistent in what she does. She is very talented and is 12 years old. The last in a series of successes was the reason for us to do an interview with Jana.
How long have you been doing rhythmic gymnastics?
I have been practicing rhythmic gymnastics for 4 years.
How did you come up with the idea to do rhythmic gymnastics?
As a child, I jumped around the house”, I did stars, strings and I started to train gymnastics. And then I
saw rhythmic gymnastics and I liked it more because it is an elegant sport.
Do you think you have achieved any of your goals?
I have just started to achieve them, but there are many more.
What is your goal?
My goal is to one day become the champion of Serbia in rhythmic gymnastics.
Do you plan to do rhythmic gymnastics forever?
Yes, I do not plan to stop playing this sport.
Do your parents support you in what you do?
Yes, and they will always support me.
Who is your biggest support?
My biggest support is my coach, family and best friends.
She has been coached by Russian Oskana Avramovich since September 2017. Trainings are held three
